From the moment your children walk in the door, they will know they’re someplace special. They will be greeted warmly and invited into our separate area set up just for them. There always is an endless variety of toys, video games and books to keep your kids entertained and relaxed.

Once they get to our comfortable dental chairs, we will keep them happy with a smile, a hand to hold — even a magic trick!

We speak kids’ language, too. When we talk about dental care with your child, we never use scary words like “anesthesia,” “X-rays” or “cavities.” Instead, we use child-friendly words like “sleepy juice,” “taking pictures” or “tooth bugs.”

We’ll use the latest numbing techniques to make sure our care is gentle. In fact, many children say they do not even notice our gentle injections.

Your child will receive a personalized book that will explain what to expect during his or her first visit to our office.

This fun environment has its advantages for you, too. Bringing your child in for dental care won’t be a battle.

The only problem you’ll have is trying to get him or her to leave.

We strive to make each and every visit to our office a fun one!

Our three year old son has special needs and had his first visit with Dr Talati. At first he was afraid but she won him over and was able to get those teeth polished and looking great. Thanks for the caring service!

Dr. Talati is a model professional. She is very knowledgeable and more importantly connects with the children to create a fun and safe environment.

I needed to switch dentists because six months was TOO LONG to wait for a reschedule of our old dentist. Fran in the office was super-helpful and got our two boys in just two days after I called! They run a great office, super-clean, spacious lobby, and Dr. Lin did a terrific job with the boys, as did both women named Sylvia who cleaned the boys' teeth. We are happy converts and cannot recommend this group highly enough.

We recently relocated to IL from ATL and I did alot of research regarding pediatric dentists near our new home- I did not find any close to us that stood out or had good reviews. Then I came across Pediatric Dental Assoc- they were a 30-40 min. drive from us, but they had excellent reviews so I decided to give them a try- I am so glad I did! Everyone at the office was great and even the dentist took the time to chat with me for a while- and we did not have to wait long at all, so definitely worth the drive.

Just a quick note to say thank you!  The video that your pediatric dental practice has placed online made my 4.5 year old daughter's experience yesterday seamless!  She was thoroughly prepared for her check-up and cleaning; knowing exactly what to anticipate.  The fact that she was able to see other children in the video happy and excited to be at the dentist, in addition to seeing all the tools and the noises that they make in advance, helped tremendously.  Thank you so much for going that extra mile to make my daughter's experience not only tolerable, but wonderfully positive.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Z.

 Hi Denise,

I definitely have a great pediatric dentist to refer you and your brother to. Dr. Fred Margolis is world reknown and respected as a pediatric dentist. I had first heard of him back in dental school, when he came to Michigan for a talk, and all the Attendings were in a tizzy because of his arrival.  When I moved out here and was looking for a dentist for Ethan, imagine my shock when I saw Dr. Margolis was on staff at my husband's hospital!

Anyway, he has a practice in Buffalo Grove, www.kidsmyl.com, and he has two other dentists on staff with him, as well as an orthodontist. Ethan and Olivia have gone to their office since they were both 2.5 yr old.  I have met the other 2 dentists and they seem very good too. And I am very confident in Dr. Margolis' hiring, and am sure he has very high standards.

Dr. Margolis also utilizes laser dentistry without shots, although I am not sure for what cases this is appropriate. In any case, Dr. Margolis and staff definitely don't want negative experiences/attitudes towards dentistry, and if this is what you are concerned about, their office will be great.

I hope this helps! If you have more questions, please ask!

Talk to you soon,

Naree
